No Sound

So, I booted up MK9 this morning only to discover that I have NO SOUND WHATSOEVER. There is absolutely no sound at all. Any help? Is this a result of the patch?

Haven't heard of anyone having sound problems after the patch. You double checked all your other system settings? Like your surround sound or something?

I got it! Upgraded my TV but I didn't upgrade the HDMI settings on my PS3! Thanks!
