New iPhone revealing in less than 24 hours.

Apparently there's some event where Apple will be showcasing the new iPhone coming out possible at the end of this month. It's rumoured that Apple will be showing two phones - the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 4S is supposed to be having a larger memory, and most likely antenna fixes while looking exactly like the current iPhone 4. iPhone 5 on the other hand should be a complete redesign featuring a larger screen, larger memory, new processor, etc.

Before people start with the Apple hate/fanboy-ism, there's no doubt that the iPhone is an outstanding device. I don't like the Corporation too much, but their phones are some of the best we've ever seen. With that said, I can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us.

IF however the iPhone 5 is not revealed and/or underwhelming, I'll probably consider getting the Galaxy S II. My phone plan ended last month so I'm down for a new phone.

What do you guys think will happen? What do you guys expect? Will you be upgrading to the iPhone 5 if revealed?
 
I'll probably get the 4s depending on just exactly what the Iphone 5 can do, I may consider getting one of those. My biggest complaint about every iPhone I've ever had 3Gs/4 is battery life, and I want to see how the 5 is going to improve on that.
Right now, other than the battery life, I'm content with my Iphone4, love it.
 
If the iphone5 has a bigger screen im jumping on that. Meanwhile im happy with my iphone4, and of course im jb it.

Anyway, only half the rumours were true. From the event earlier today, Tim Cooks (the new CEO) has only announced the iPhone 4S. From images, it appears the 4S looks exactly like the 4 featuring:

- Dual-core CPU, 2x as fast at CPU tasks.
- Dual-core Graphics. Up to 7x faster in the previous iPhone.
- Battery life increased to 8 hours of talk time.
- 8MP Camera.
- 1080p Video Recording.
- Virtual Voice Assistant, Siri.

Black and white, 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399.

Not even a larger screen :( I'm interested to see how fast the device is compared to the Galaxy SII. I'm pretty underwhelmed at this point.

I don't need a bigger screen, the screen size is perfect because it fits in my pocket without an issue. As screens get bigger so does the phone body and weight, too bulkily I LOVE the iPhone 4 form factor and glad they stuck with it.

The specs alone make this phone more than 2X better than the iPhone 4, here's some benchmarks comparing the A5 CPU/GPU to the Galaxy S 2 and to the A4 in the iPhone 4.

That says to me it's WAY not under wealming. I also love photography and the new camera is a great upgrade.

I just ordered a 64GB White iPhone 4S to be delivered next week. I can't wait.

Too bad you can't get GLaDOS for the Siri voice:

 
I have always wanted a larger screen ever since the release of the GS2, so we all thought that apple would be upping their screen size to compete. But then again, switching phones will make a couple things a burden for me (iTunes music, etc.).

Those iPad benchmarks are very impressive. I'm still holding out to see what kind of plans my carrier can provide. I might just stay on the 'S' cycle (currently have the 3GS).

Though I do love the design of the iPhone 4. Loving those edges.
 
Benchmarks for the iPhone 4S are out, and I'm glad I'm getting it over the Samsung GSII.
