Need Help ASAP

Okay Im at tha part where Im in tha NeatherRealm I think its called(With tha lava an all that good stuff) and I just helped tha former elder god defeat that one chic, we went across on that raft lookin thing an now Im in a room where these things with red smoke lookin stuff around them is spittin out demons. When Taven goes in tha room it plays that lil video where he looks at tha wall and it shows tha huge MK dragon icon with all those jewled lookin circles around it and then on each surrounding wall there is a bigger version of those jewels and they're lit up. Im not havin a problem killin tha demons as they come, and tha things thats shootin em out...I cant kill them, their health doesnt go down at all...wut Im wondering is wut Im supposed ta do with those jewels cuz I cant get to them....its like theres an invisible wall keepin me away from them and I've tried shootin fireballs at it but that isnt workin either....idk how to get past this, any help would be appreciated!!!
 
I remember that room...you can't damage the enemies directly IIRC. Try throwing the little enemies at the crystals, or maybe there are other symbols you can hit with a fireball. There's some trick to it. Anybody remember what exactly to do?
 
K I hadnt tried that....I kno there are sum skeleton statues in tha corner and one is surrounded by this green mist and I've tried bustin them and hittin them with fireballs but that doesnt do anything either. I'll look fa other symbols tho an try that. I kno this game is old lol but I quit tha whole gamin thing before it came out and just now picked it back up so yea.....Im kinda behind lol!!!
