Anyway I like the idea, and the huge frost ball he is sending towards Jax looks like it even has a face, as I noted two huge reptillian eye balls near the front of it.

I like it 9/10 Although with the above mentioned before. LMAO!
 
Gah, here we go with over rating stuff again.

This is too simple. The only good thing about it is that you didn't lose any pixels or add any when pasting the sprites or the ice effects (which just look silly with that many there).

The "FINISH HIM" text is too high.

No originality
Nothing special going on
No shadows (which disappear in all MKs during a fatality anyway pre MKDA)
Background isn't darkened
No life bars
Test is out of place
Made in about 10 minutes

Put some more effort into it, Pyro. If you don't add some <3 to a fake, then it really isn't worth posting. Try spending a day making a fake as opposed to just whipping one up. You'll see a tremendous difference hopefully. So will we. Maybe even something worth opening :wink:
 
actually when he put the ice there he lost a ton of pixels to the bg because he didn't fill them in the 2nd shade of white.

He wasn't asking for a "ZIMG no blah blah blah."

Which is why in my first post I posted 9/10 maybe I should have put IML:9/10 and by rating :3/10.

What kind of excuses are "it was just a quick fake" and "I wasn't trying hard"? If you weren't trying hard, why'd you even bother posting it here? You know how stuff like this gets received, so you knew what you were getting yourself into. Don't tell people to rate your work and then get mad when they rip it apart. If you don't want your work criticized, then simply don't post it here.

Even if you were posting it purely to see how people liked the idea, what kind of reception did you really think you'd get? You took a pre-existing idea and made the projectile bigger-- what kind of an idea is that?

Kill said all that really needed to be said, but it seems like you're just not getting the point. Art isn't about making something specifically for other people to see and then having to make excuses for why it isn't any good.
