Motion Blur

Hey ppl,

I'm really enjoying the demo. But I've got a question. Has anyone noticed any kind of motion blur when the characters are flying at reasonable speeds accros the screen? (specifically when they jump). It only seems to be slightly visible, Its not extremely obvious. I don't think its my TV since I have a quite good HDtv. Anyone notice anything like this?

It's not distrubing in any way, I'd just like to know if it's me (as in seeing things), the tv (ghosting or a different setting), or the game (motion blur).

Thanks!

PS: I'm not experiencing any ghosting on other games.

Hmm I didn't really notice that much of it. I mean I see alittle bit of it but not enough to mess up game play.

It didn't mess with the gameplay at all either. Its just that I really focus on visuals (the curse of being a game artist :P). I wanted to know if I'm seeing things.

I've got a 100 Hrz tv, so it isn't a refresh issue. My girlfriend doesn't see anything, so Its probably me. :) I've tried to spot it, but sometimes I can't even see it... It's most likely just me :)

Sometimes it depends on refresh rate and response times. I went through this before because I hated motion blur so I kinda returned a few tvs. I ended up with a 120 hz 42 inch vizio with a 5ms response time. Anything lower than 8ms should be fine for video games. If you do have a game option on your tv then try that or if you have smooth motion settings go with those too.
