Mortal Kombat's King of the Hill Mode Unveiled

This game is indeed looking better by the minute!

Damn this looks fun. It brings back the old arcade days where everybody got around the cabinet to watch you play some MK. The cheering and booing is a great touch from NRS.

Kudos for the awesome work Ed Boon & his team did! DAMN!!
 
Yeah this is a good development Indeed... Now I am hoping it will also contain Voting (i.e.for the next stage, kick / ban or mode type Kombat Kodes etc) room chat and Custom SFX playable and only heard by spectators...

Oh this is just great does anyone remember the quake sounds :) they need some commentary like this to pump it up for the king of the hill and the spectators "DOMINATING!!!" like the dark quake sounds and normal and the female or along those lines


Oh just the feeling when you heard those sounds!!! could easily be implemented just before the next match and flash the win counter at certain points 1/2/4/8/12/16/24/32 for everyone to hear somthing like that as the king of the hill gets more and more wins makes you want to get him/her off the top more and drives the player to have a big piece of text flash up on the screen for instance "*Username*is GODLIKE!" accompanied by the sound made of win everytime for everyone and sets the bar and lets everyone know about it

I am really liking the idea of the king of the hill mode, its nice to see that fighting games are opening up interaction between spectators and players, too many fighting games just stick to the standard vs and its boring for spectators
