that movie made no sense! :x scorpion's spear never came out of his hand and looked like a reptile,he uses rope and a metal spear

Yeah, I kind of liked the whole snake-spear thing, too bad it never caught on in the games, not even as a fatality.
 
Listen, everyone, think of it this way: It wasn't as bad as MK: Annihilation, now was it. The first movie was pretty kick-ass, which has been said and proven on many occasions here, and I believe that Boon and Tobias purposely made Scorp's spear come out of his hand to give it that "whoa" factor (Believe me when I say that in the original game, it does look like it's coming out of his hand; they where trying to go with that whole classic feel).
 
to me, they just tried to add too much of the game into the movie--all those dang quotes and signature moves. cool, though it may be, Hell has a million ladders, Scorpion is really vulnerable after TOASTY's, and there's a car u can see a flash of in the Cage/Scorpion fight.
