PD: I'm an friend of Coop, coming from MKMP, MFG and MKMW.

Well, it's the only way that we can have new characters with completely new costumes and appearances. Classic Sub's costume was made by me BTW.

I've downloaded and unpacked the new characters into the correct subdirectories but I cannot see them on the select screen.
What's need to be done?

Have you added them in the select.def? You only need to replace the "empty" strings for the name of the char's folder.

I wonder can you expand the number of character slots on the select screen?
 
Hey, I remember that some users were also creating models of non-MK1 characters (but these were mostly posted at MK1 HD topic), is there a chance some of these could be of use?
