Mortal Kombat Frenzy!!!

What if there was a mortal kombat game that was like mario party but in a more violent way?
It could be in boardgame style and have up to date music. Like Green Day, The Killers, My chemicle romance, motley crew, metallica, and evanesence! I thought the charecters below would be the most appropriatte!

1. Mileena
2. Baraka
3. Kitana
4. Liu- Kang
5. Shang Tsung
6. Sheeva
7. Sektor
and 8. Sonya
 
Actually, that would be a pretty good idea if they twisted it more like this:

-The music is MK music, not Motley Crue.
-The characters are small, like in Puzzle Kombat.
-The unmarked squares (just a square) would be nothing
-Some squares would have "KOMBAT" written on it, indicating a match with a CPU.
-Some squares would have "TRAP" on it, indicating if you walk on that square, there is a chance you could be blown up (sent back to start, or lose health)
-There would be switches to drop bridges to walk across, maybe killing the character underneath.

I like the idea.
 
I don't think I'd buy a game like this unless it was decided by the guys making it that their not going to take it serious. the thing would be a a string of jokes and the overall game would be anything but serious.

And even then I'd not buy it.
 
I'd buy it, but without all that bullshit music. it needs proper MK music or the Death Metal/Techno of the movies. and chances are it'd be comedic, i mean, puzzle kombat is hardly shakespear is it? Even the main storylines have had comedy elements, like scorpion turning into a penguin etc
 
How about a Mario Party style minigame:

Your little mini-kombatant is hanging there by his/her neck with his/her tippy-toes on a chair... and that chair is on the VERY EDGE of a pit in which the floor is covered 3 feet deep with small, VERY breakable vials of a flesh eating bacteria, YES? You must cut the rope with the left analog stick (left > right, right > left) while keeping your balance with the right analog stick (pressure sensitive! be careful!) and just as you finish cutting the rope, you have to press a button at the precise moment to grab the ledge and then press L and R alternately in order to climb up before you run out of strength... and if you don't? ...yeah. Sound like fun??? You KNOW it does. :D

That would be one of those games that would make me so fustrated I'd throw a fit at it.

Then I'd give it flying lessons totally free.

Haha, man ;)

I'd have the same problem with it. My hands shake a bit, no idea why, but I'd have trouble with the pressure-sensitive part. Plus, overall, I'd just get frustrated with it too :D

Best animality ever made! That sounds pretty cool! But I agree with that guy (I don't care about his name) that said it should be a minigame in MK7, if that was a retail game, Mk fans would be really annoyed, and little kids would buy it, thinking it's a sort of E-rated game, stupid store clerk just gives it to him without looking for parent, goes home and plays it, mom catches him, sues Midway, NO MORE MK GAMES! :cry:
 
i think it could develop into a good idea...
i mean if its MK and i heard its at least decent i am goin to buy it!!!
 
or how about it could be like fusion frenzy but with freindships moves included and the characters r just from mk1 and few from mk2(just the classics)and the music will be like goraka choosed it will be awesome...maybe not maybe yes
