Mortal Kombat banned in Germany

What's the purpose to ban the game in Germany while in all the surroundings countries it will be available. There is no border control in Europe, and germans can buy/import the game as easy as importing an italian pizza to France.

As I 've posted already their Amazon is importing the UK version.
 
you can create an US account and download what you want... a friend of mine did that a downloaded the MK demo... so germany´s laws are nothing worth...

That only works for PS3, not for Xbox. Microsoft is blocking the IP´s inside Germany. So a US fake account is useless. That sucks, cause i will never get the DLC´s for that game.

Won't work for region locked DLC. Someone in Germany won't be able to download the US DLC. The game and DLC region have to be the same.

Amazon.de/at sells the AT-Version of MK9 ..so if ur a ps3 owner, u can register @AT-psn ..buy AT-psncards or pay with creditcard ..and buy what ever dlc u want from AT store.

About the reasoning, I guess it's because of several Amok-runs in german schools. And the government needs something to blame it for. And guess what ..their favorites are "violent" video games, aggressive music and counterstrike ;)
