Whats up! umm As you all know, reptile is my favorite character, but I just cant resist liking Shang Tsung in MK9. IMO he looks great, and his alt costume looks great too. The only thing I hate about Shang Tsung in MK9 is that he looks bigger than Sub Zero. O.O I know right, Shang is suppose to b 5'11, but ingame he is bigger than sub zero. But nonetheless, he is badass in this game. Shang makes it to my list of fav characters!!! Ummm.... also you guys mine telling me what is the music in this shang wallpaper vid. thank you.

Anyone know for sure if Shang is going to have the ability to morph into any character during fights? Has this been confirmed yet? If it's a spoiler and it has been posted can someone post a link to the thread?

I read he can only transform into the player he is fighting. So if shang is fighting reptile, shang can only transform into reptile, nobody else. I guess its just to make him a little more balanced compared to others.

Hmmm, I was hoping to be able to morph into any character, but I guess if they did that they might have load problems.....like a hesitation as the other character loads....like MKT had..... oh well, im sure he will still be great !! HEH

from what i can tell yes. look at lui kangs video. at first hes fighting kano, then reptile and eventually reptile tranforms back into shang. hope that answers your question

I was curious if he could morph into 3 people during tag mode since all should be loaded into the match?
 
With it possible to install games on the PS3(the system i own i don't know about xbox) i would think Shang Tsung should be able to morph into any player with almost no lag, and if he can't he will still be good but not as good as he could be. has their been any word on a game install to lower loading times i hope loading in the full game is not longer then the demo, i would not complain i would just be use to the demo 's loading times. someone should twitter Boon and ask since i don't have a twitter account

My guess is that you could morph into the opponent you're facing at that moment, since visually, Shang Tsung is sucking out the green orb from the opponent's body.

Yes he can. Shang Tsung has a special where he targets an individual, and shang turns into that individual. If you are playing 2v2, shang's transformation will depend on who he does that special transformation to. EX) Shang/Rep Vs Scorp/Sub. If Shang faces sub and does his transformation, shang becomes sub. If sub switches to scorp, and shang does his transformation again, but dis time on scorp, shang becomes scorp.
