Well, that was your first mistake right there, lol. Those morons at Best Buy (or any other retail chain store for that matter) don't ever have the slightest clue what they're talking about. I would certainly not ever put any faith in anything I heard from a single one of them.
As far as the 3DS is concerned, I have zero interest in purchasing either the system or an MK game for the system. I've played with one for a few hours and I was not greatly impressed, especially not at that price point. I agree with a few others here that the 3D aspect of it feels more gimmicky and tacked on if nothing else. Not that it's a bad little system, I just think it would be a purchase more easily swallowed at a more reasonable price point.
I am also quite content with MK9 on my 360. The next thing I'm looking forward to is the new Arcade Kollection, and possibly the HD Kollection later on down the road. I feel that NRS should focus all of their efforts as follows: DLC for MK9, polish up the Arcade Kollection, and then possibly work on bringing us the HD Kollection.
