MKX Cage Family Trailer

I don't think the farmer jax outfit is supposed to be take. Seriously.Its just an excuse to give us more costumes which I love..like I said days ago..you can give me clown JOHNNY cage,chef Johnny cage ,doctor Johnny cage .idc..it's all in good fun.

If that sub one guy wants to talk politics why don't he just take that to the "just talk" thread ?

I'm not a fan of humor in games, well some is fun (like only cassie) but if all those annoying SF characters get fun and humorous costumes, it will be extremely boring and un-needed work time for the team who better can give the DLC characters some extra costumes instead of 20 Scorpion and 12 Jax costumes.

Funny enough, the few b*****ing here will likely still buy the game, and even if they don't buy it it won't matter compared to the millions of sales that Mortal Kombat X will do.
Merely a drop in the ocean of people that will buy it.

I thought the trailer was great and all, but it basically took away any chance there may have been in me playing as Cassie.

We've got Johnny and his unique style. We've got Sonya and her unique style. And then there's Cassie... Who is just sitting over there singing "I'm a little bit Johnny and I'm a little bit Sonya Blade."

Bleh. Sonya is my girl. If I want to play as a Sonya/Cassie-esque character, it's going to be Sonya. *shrug*

I adore all three characters and I am happy to see them. But I'm also bothered by how the inclusion of all three makes for one bizarre and questionable roster.

Really though... Just look at the roster so far. It's incredibly strange. I'm very put off by it, at the moment. I'll feel better if we get more characters than what most of you think there will be. But as of right now, it's kind of a hot mess.

Anyway, I'm really excited to hear about the dead combatants appearing within the story as revenants. But where's Jade? The Chapter One description didn't include her in the appearance department. Unless I missed it.

Shinnok looks great, once again. I'm so happy they didn't ignore him and his promise at the end of MK9.

Still, let them be unhappy with the game in peace... Just be glad that you yourself are happy with that crappy roster.
 
I have to say I never thought Id see the day Jax wearing some armour like Quan Chi LOL, it's pretty badass tho and I like the spikes on his arms

The revenants return in later chapters, as we have seen Cassie and Jacqui batteling Sindel (who doesn't die again in the first chapter it seems) and Kitana. So Jade can return later maybe explaining why she has really died and the others didn't? Maybe Quan Chi absorbed her very essence and destroyed her being for getting more powerful himself.

The story has always been cheesy. Do you remember MK9 at all? It was the same. IMO this looks miles above it. That's just me though.

I think you'll change your mind once you play as her. She's really fun. The baton, guns, and her whole spec ops variation set her apart.

Seems like Super Mario approach to me.

Anyhow, in mk9 I was disappointed that all the alternate costumes were of the male and female ninjas, so I welcome the variety. It's just that Farmer Jax is so random. I would love Special Agent Johnny Cage from mk4 or ninja mime alternate or mk3 alternate for Sonya, though. Jax can also have badass alternates.

You must be fun at parties, personally while I can do without the rest of the Cage family, Johnny's fatality pretty much showed me why he deserves a place on this roster

Raging is seriously hard word for my feeling. I am More like slightly weirded. I do not want sf4 randomness in the alternate customers. Tis all.
 
I love Cassie's humor, but Johnny takes away her shiny star by overdoing humor in this game, now + funny alternate costumes like Jax Farmer direction... well that is just too much funny stuff in my opinion, also seeing those Johnny jokes in the trailer was way overdone, everything he said was a joke towards Sonya...
