MKA

my question: in MKA, when raiden walks in the temple and starts fighting those black ninjas, are they noob saibot, reptiles, or just ninjas of lin kuei?

yeah great that ermac was in it... by costume only... and none of his own moves (and like i've always asked why the hell was noob saibot melting out of him?)

Words fail me. This movie is putrid and rotten, and nearly every opinion I've seen of this movie seems to agree with that. It makes me wonder what goes on in the heads of some of these studio guys who let their money get wasted on garbage like this movie.

yeah

I have always been a life-long devot MK fan, but I will never watch this movie again. I almost walked out in the theatres and avoid watching it again at all costs. It's purely horrid and I believe partially responsible for harming the MK franchise as a whole. The TV shows didn't help either. Midway needs to tighten the reigns on the MK TV/Movie licenses and get some good quality material made, Threshhold has been bungling it up for years now.

Great? MKA great? No no no...... I don't care who was in it. It just wasn't great. Hopefully the next two are considered great and something people who didn't care for MK to start saying wow, these movies(MK3 AND MK4) along with the first MK that they paid no attention to is actually.... GREAT!!!!

I agree, this movie was horrible. Ermac was in it yet they never refer to him as Ermac at all. He was just sort of there as a unnamed charecter. What about the fact that Liu Kang was supposed to face three of nightwolfs test and then by the middle of the movie they just droped that whole angle. Hopefully the next movie will be good.

It was cool, but I didn't like how they changed the plot to be more dramatic. Like Raiden being Shao Kahn's brother, and Shinnok being their father. (Yes that was Shinnok, it said so in the credits)

The actual plot from the game was allready dramatic enough and I feel that they really didnt need to change it. Also Ermac, Shinnok, and Milenna are never refered to by name. You onky know its them if you played the game or read the credits. I cant think of any other movie that names a charecter and never calls them or refers to them by it throughout the movie. It was just an overall horrible attempt at a movie.

Boba Fett was never referred to by name in The Empire Strikes Back.

And BTW since when did the Brotherhood of The Shadow literally turn invisible. The intent was always supposed to be Raptors, as I recall from the previews.

I would love to see a new MK movie. With the success of MKD I think now is the time. You'd have to say my boy JAX stole the spot light for a second in MKA even though it revolved around Kang. I've been waiting for awhile to see MK back on the big screen and hopefully is happens in the near future.
