I say bring back the ladders and the hidden secrets within the one on one fighting game and ditch konquest and the krypt. Just focus on the fighting again.
I'm for that too. Well, most of it. I actually liked the idea of Konquest and the Krypt, so I'm not necessarily for them ditching that
altogether, but that stuff should be nowhere near the only means of unlocking secrets in the game. More Reptile in MK1/Jade, Smoke and Noob in MK2 type secrets is what we need, definitely. Hidden stuff that's actually
hidden is what we need; unlockable stuff that we already know is unlockable just doesn't cut it.
Bring back the fight ladders? HELL YES! Aside from unlocking stuff in the Krypt, there's become almost no replay value for a single player in arcade mode. There's what, like 8 matches? What in the hell is that? MK1 had more than 8 frigging matches. Give us more choices, damn it. If I want to play through a battleplan with 20 matches or more, I should be able to.
And all the extra crap, like Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat, those should only be added
if they have time once they're done with the core fighting game. The fact that they were working on all that stuff at the same time with a deadline on the way only means that there's less time for them to put into the one thing which is the reason we all buy the games to begin with: the fighting.
