Not really sure if this has been posted before, couldnt see it when I looked. I was playing MK Trilogy on the playstation today and I noticed a strange glitch while playing as Cyrax. After beating my opponent, who was Jax might add, I performed the fatality where the blades come from his head and he flys up then comes down on top of his opponant cutting them up and when it cut Jax up he exploded but instead of red blood it was black blood, I thought it was maybe just a little error so i picked another human opponent, Liu Kang, and did the same fatality and yet again, black blood appeared. I had noticed this when playing the game when I was younger. Does this happen in every version of the game?

i know this is a really old topic to post on, but it might be black blood because Jax is black. Or there's something wrong with your Playstation when that kind of red is shown. This sorta thing tends to happen. Mostly depends on how long you've had that playstation. MY PS1 screws up sometimes and colors get distorted on occasion.

just because he is black his blood has to be? i don't think so. At first it might be because his arms are robotick and all robotic charactors have black blood. But then he brought up the liu kang thing. It is probably a game programming error. Deffinitely not a problem with your game console. I think that when they programmed the fatality, the accidently programmed sektor's color blood instead of whoever he is fighting, or they accidently programmed certain characters blood color, so check with as many charactors as you can until you get bored as hell. (from mortal kombat? Is that even possible?) Then, you should have a better idea of what the problem is.

Hey, I'm not racist. Never was. All I'm saying is that it might be a REALLY rare easter egg of some sort. I respect other races, but all I'm saying is that it might just be one of the crews little jokes. Now don't make another forum I've posted in turn into a warzone of wisecracks.

The black blood thing is a code error i think so either buy anither copy or grab a bat and start smashing the ps1 or possible wait until it fixes itself.... :wink:

I don't think you have a firm grip on racism. Saying his blood is black because he is black doesn't mean the guy is racist. I think you just took it as him intending to be racist though he wasn't, he was just making a suggestion. He's obviously not a racist and didn't intend it to be. People are just really touchy on teh issue of racism and jump to comclusions about things people say to make them out to be racist. If you have read my thread about the girl at my work named Poojah, you see how much I hate that name and I make fun of it. Does it make me racist towards Indian people? No it doesn't, she just has a stupid name. Her mom must hate her.
