thats exactly how i felt for a long while. these people abandoned the series when it went to "crap" and now come back preaching fanaticism, claiming they love MK and how they "cant wait to get this!!". as time went on, especially now, i got over those sentiments and figured that the more people that buy this MK, even if they are two-faced/bandwagon-hoppers, the more MK games we get in the future.

I played every mainstream MK game and loved each during their prime. some are heavily flawed, but i was willing to overlook that because i love the franchise, story and characters themselves.

Ok, enough of my diatribe :p
 
IGN lies again. Saying it's in 5 minutes when it's clearly 3:44. How do they still have jobs with the lies that they throw left and right? :laugh:
 
Agreed with Aldo and Zafiro, I disliked the 3D MK's but I had all of them for both the Xbox and PS2. If youre a fan, youre a fan no matter what.
 
Well what i think is funny is the title is Mortal Kombat Actually Has a Story like as if it never did have one lol.

Meh. I've played them all as well. Can't say I ever enjoyed Deadly Alliance and Deception, though. And after Armageddon I thought the series was doomed.
 
Lol that was pretty funny. It sucks seeing a story that I enjoy being made fun of but can't deny how rediculous the plot to these games can be lol. MK has the best story among fighters but it's still a long way from heavy rain haha.

I love MK since I was 5/6, blame my brothers :). I dont kollect MK figures n stuff but I have always played every single MK game that came out and never shitted on the game even tho they are some things I don't like(maybe cuz I was a kid n play for the FUN of it). Is a series that I enjoyed in my childhood and just cant talk bad about it. I started buying from MK:DA and so on. I will always look forward for the next game.

For those idiots in the thread saying that I'm not a fan because I stopped buying them after Deadly Alliance, you're the real band wagon jumper.

You continued to but the games after the quality dropped, and even bought MK vs DC when it dropped to teen. I'm sorry but that's not MK, that's try to please the masses, and leaving the fans in the dust.

I'm sorry if you think I'm not a true fan for not being a fan of any of the ones after Deadly Alliance, but I took a stand. I wanted something closer to the original formula, and they gave it with the new one that's coming out. So yes, I'm super excited about the new title in the series, but that's because it feels like a true MK.
