MK 9 Scorpion Teleport Infinite/Glitch

Do any of you know whether or not Scorpions teleport "infinite" (its not really an infinite cause you can only do it up to five times) has been fixed for the final version? I only ask because alot of people made a huge deal over the "walking jab thing" and NRS said it was fixed, but I think the teleport thing is an even bigger issue that needs to be addressed and hopefully it has been.

Well I dont know if its been altered in anyway however I do believe that they will limit it to two in a combo chain.
 
also remember, NRS developed the game so that they'll be able to balance the game with updates after its release, so if anything combos gets overpowered and people start to use the character just to pull that move off, they will most likely change it.

what he said. They made this game being prepared for issues like this so no point in stressing really.
 



The official NRS youtube channel, MKCommunityManger, favorited these two videos. They love these combo exchanges. They might bring down the damage a little but the teleporting around is how Scorpion is suppose to juggle at a pro level. Expect it to be in the final version. It won't be changed, and frankly, I think it shouldn't be changed either. It's amazing.

I'm a little taken back that you guys would call this an infinite or a glitch. It's neither at all. The jab infinite in the demo is a serious problem, this is just a juggle.

Also realize that in these videos Scorpion is mostly starting these combos with neutral jumping punch. This move is RIDICULOUSLY hard to land vs someone that knows what they are doing. Who is going to let you casually land that? That would need some serious setting up. Because of this it should be a big dmg combo starter.

Scorpion is a heavy juggle character. So is Mileena. Both of them have special moves that immediately start juggles. They deserve for them to take away a lot of dmg. Subby has his freeze but he'd had to run up to them and hit them after he freezes them, and remember that he has no traditional launcher. Mileena and Scorp need these badass juggles. Maybe a tad less dmg on Scorpions I have to agree. Its a bit crazy on the dmg. But the dmg scaling will definitely change in the final version, whereas the combos themselves probably won't.
 
I agree. That shouldn't be called a glitch, because it is not easy to do. I have tried, and my record is a 13 hit w/ mileena, and a 15 hit w/ scorp.
 
I've told a couple of friends already that Scorpion is the face of the franchise. On the cover, and the logo of the studio. No one is going to get fired if Scorpion dominates a couple of extra matches. Those are some sweet looking juggles aren't they?
 
Why would they hinder people from juggling? It's not a glitch at all. Why bother getting good at the game if they just plan on stopping you from executing certain moves? From what I've seen on YouTube there are people stringing together ridiculous juggles with all 4 fighters.
 
Alright folks forgive me for calling it a glitch. Only reason I brought this up is because at first when these videos started to appear showing scorpion doing 5 teleports in one combo, the reaction people had made it seem like this game was "broken", lol.
I must admit, some of these combos are ridiculous.
 
If your playing against someone you know can consistently do combos like that then brake them, use your xray bar for combo brakers instead of using your bar for your own combos which will be worthless unless your good. Those combos aren't game breaking or anything I don't see why they wouldn't be in the actual game that would suck if they weren't.

Not only this but if you know someone is a heavy teleporter after a couple combos you should get to know when they tend to teleport, so just block standing up and punish! Scorpion's teleport is blocked is EXTREMELY punishable.
