Hello there.
This thread is mainly to help not just me, but for anyone that also suffers frequent migraines and would like to put an end to them.
I suffer from a lot of migraines, especially when the weather changes. Mostly, when the barometric meter changes, I'm stuck doing nothing because my head hurts so much I can't even move. I do know how to prevent most of the triggers that causes my migraines, but for some reason, when the weather acts up, there's literally nothing I can do. I thought, hey maybe someone from here suffers the same thing and KNOWS how to prevent them, I'll try asking.
Also, to let you in on a little something about wee little me, I do have an under developed sinus on the right side of my head, but I've been told by various sinus doctors that it's not a problem to take seriously. I also have a medical condition in which migraines trigger majority of it... I pass out a lot, it's called Syncope.
So, how do we treat them? Before they stopped working on me, I would take Excedrin, two of them. I'd eat chocolate or drink a can of pop for that caffeine intake, or if nothing is working... try sleeping and screaming it off. But I certainly know, the last two is a pain to go through, I really wouldn't recommend it unless NOTHING is working for you and there's nothing else you can do.
If anyone has any other remedies to get rid of migraines, feel free to post. I'm sure we've all dealt with them, sadly... It's just an annoying pain... just like tooth pain.
