i am planning on buying this i would just like to know how are the moratal kombat 2,3 ports are they really arcade perfect?

the sound seemed fine to me, although i havnt played ne of those games in the arcade for many many years, but it sounded fine

They seem really good to me. I bought it today for Xbox. The flickering shadows are a little annoying, and the MK3 sound is a little off (not that bad though). Other than that, it's great. Although I don't think you'll be able to fight Smoke in MK2 since start pauses the game. I also heard the you have to enter the kode for Smoke in MK3 everytime you play since it doesn't save once the game is taken out. I haven't tried either for myself yet though.
Both ports are good. Graphically the only issue is the flickering shadow on each character. Controls are fine too. The biggest issue is sound. Sound tends to cut off here and there (during the Free Play screens and during the credits after beating the game), when performing a fatality or other finisher sometimes the background music and the finisher music overlap. But the way I look at it, considering how bad other versions were (Genesis and 32X versions of MKII were complete jokes and a waste of money. MK3 wasn't bad considering the decline of the Genesis) those issues are minor.
