Yes this does belong here beause im talking about mk, now my question is why didnt they put mk1 in it when mk2 and mk3 is in there? i mean mk1 was the very beggining of the mortal kombat era why didnt they put in in there? the main reason why im buying MAT2 is because it has mk on it but now since i heard that mk1 isnt in there im not so sure i should buy it... how about you?
 
It's got a cheap price tag + MK2&3. How could you go wrong? Unless they really aren't arcade perfect ports like they say. I was sickenned when I couldn't pull off Kitana's combo's like I should've been able to. This wasn't due to user error or the controller,it was the game.

They pulled MK1 at the last minute from Treasures 2 and dumped it into the MK Deception Platinum Edition packs. This way they had a reason to charge more because I don't think anyone would have really bought it just for the few little behind the scenes extras it came with, I know at least I wouldn't anyway...
 
Is mk 2 and 3 xbox live i ask cause it says on the back of the box xbox live something cant remember exactly but ive heard they were live.
 
Yeah, MKII and MK3 are pretty accurate (if not totally accurate). I think the developers used the actual MAME roms for the game (not that it would matter). The only issues I've run into are sound related (both games). Graphically there are no major issues except for flickering shadows (which is small and something I can live with considering how BAD the old console versions were).

Wasn't the announcement of MK1's removal old news?

The Xbox Live part of MAT2 is only for high scores, nothing else unfortunately. But wouldn't that be awesome? MKII Online?? Holy crap.
