Here is a lifesize head I made for my scorpion statue, I posted a thread a year ago about my costume but didnt post much after that, here is the head I'm making, not done and I dont know if Im going to use the mk movie or legacy mask

Dressing the mannequin, still missing a few pieces but getting there.

I suggest buying a mask off of eBay, It doesn't look right with a Samurai mask. Otherwise great job.

Since Scorpion was the japanese ninja, Hanzo Hasashi, in another life - I think a japanese samurai mask fit him well.

Ninja Brazil this is a replica from legacy so I figure the one for the movie will be similar and more badass.

Immortal Reaver this is one of those things that look way cooler in person, the replica mk1 movie mask fits my face but doesn't fit this statue so I got a different one that fits him, my friends like the samurai better in person though.

I did try the new mask and I like it but I don't know which one I'm going to keep.

So just because it's Japanese, it's the same? No offense, but that's cultural ignorance right there. Would he look good in a Geisha wig, or only wearing a Sumo "diaper?"

There is no "cultural ignorance" here, sir. I understood that he wanted to make something that reminded the MK legacy serie. And I don't need to explain my knowledge about asian culture to you, but I know that samurais are one thing, and ninjas are another thing, but might have similarities, and one culture influencing another.
Hanzo, although the first mask look awesome, this new one looks better, it's more the MK universe.
