I used to sort of like Rain... when he was a pallet swap ninja. But you know what?

... Rain. his mama. his daddy. his dreams. his failures. his lessons learned in life. his weird spin kick. his super soaker powers. his breakfast in the morning. his REM at night. everything about him.

And Sareena was garbage. If they want a vampire to be cool in Mortal Kombat. They'd have to just scrap Sareena all the way and build her back from the ground up. Nice... a suicide girl with dragon wings on her back that sucks blood. How bloody droll can you get? Hot Topic from the 90s called... They want Sareena back. I'm sure mom can give people a ride to the mall to return such a disaster.

Reiko and Tanya deserved to be in MKX though. Reiko mostly though.

in the Polish Magazine; CD-Action, it is confirmed that Kabal makes an appearance as a modification in the living towers mode, similar to Rain and Cyrax. It also mentions another modification giving the description that after the god of wind Fujin died, the elements went wild.

First of all, ACCORDING to a mag Fujin dies or died, nothing is confirmed, let me tell all of you that there is a huge possibility that playable characters like Quan Chi or lets say IF Jax is playable theres a huge chance he might die in the story mode, doesnt rule out the chance of them not being playable. So same with cyrax & fujin & reiko etc etc.

Dying in story mode doesnt mean "NOT" playable.
 
Sareena is forgettable because Ed Boon doesn't give her any attention at all. All characters have potential, but Ed Boon gives his attention to the wrong characters that don't need it anymore
 
All these characters can die or live or whatever. Story mode or not.

I've just never seen the info saying Fujin died. Not really a fan of his, but I don't like missing information that's already out in the open.

Granted, but given that Cyrax, Rain and Fujin all seem to be heavily hinted at only being Tower missions, I don't have much hopes for either of them being in MKX.
This coming from someone who really has wanted a playable Fujin that didn't come out shitty, in another MK game, ever since MK4.
I've learned to accept the huge possibility that Fujin won't be playable, unless he comes in as DLC.

There's nothing wrong with that, though.
If he's playable, then great.
If he's not playable then I really look forward to trying out Kung Jin, Takeda, Jacqui, Erron Black, Kotal Kahn and Ferra / Torr.
Simple as that.

I specifically meant that Kung Jin, Takeda, Jacqui, Erron Black, Kotal Kahn and Ferra / Torr can be my replacement for Fujin or any other post-MK3 character that I would have wanted, which doesn't make it in.

I totally agree with you, the new characters are actually very interesting! Its just im clawing for a cyrax confirm or deconfirm like an official one hehe
They would look so amazing in this mk

Don't make incorrect assumptions, then.

I will try out all the characters, even the ones that I don't like, because if they can help me win online, then that's who I'll use.
At the end of the day, a win is a win.
My personal dislikes for certain characters being put in for what seems to be stupid reason (story mode will tell if it's stupid or not) has nothing to do with which character will help me win and get more faction points.
I just have certain preferences as to which characters I'd like to see in over others, as everyone else on here does.
I'd prefer new characters over old characters in MKX, but since we're only getting 8 new ones, I'll try to get to know those first since those are the "unknown" characters.
Aside from a quick story trailer, we know nothing of Takeda, Kung Jin, Jacqui or Erron Black's variations.
 
Eh the character designs are safe. Nothing that will offend people, but equally uninteresting.

Edit: most of the Special Forces characters look like they are taken from some random shooter
