Is it going to have the same things it did in Deception, like collecting coins and finding characters along the way?
 
Yes, you will be able to unlock characters. Im sure you unlock coins too, but it has been said you can unlock everything without playing konquest. So you dont HAVE to play it to unlock everything. It will be more like Shaolin Monks though, fighting enemies, instead of just walking around talking to people, and fighting only the other MK characters you choose to fight.

It is a good idea though mixing the ideas of both Shaolin Monks and Deception. I have a feeling that it will be better than deception's konquest mode now that ou roam around to fight people and also fight one on one. I also heard that things can be unlocked by stepping on bugs as well. Is that true?
