If they could flagrantly lie about Fujin like the way they did, what's to stop them from lying about the Pit stage?

Because the stage (aka "environment") is actually confirmed on the wbgames.com page, whereas NOWHERE did Boon or NRS flat-out confirm Fujin.
He was highly requested and had some Tweets and trolling about him, but lets not act like this is the first time that NRS puts trolling messages into an MK game about a character who is not in the game.

Do you not recall the "Ermac who?" and "Ermac does not exist." messages in MKII, before he was finally put into UMK3?
Likely the same scenario.
Trust me, I've wanted a good playable Fujin ever since MK4 (1997), but trolling =/= lying, and you need to learn that distinction.


As for the MKX DLC stage..........

The new content will include four new playable characters, skins and a new environment, all of which will be available in the first half of 2016.

I don't really know how popular this is or not, but I notice 'Mortal Kombat X' is trending on Facebook. When I click it, it says 'Game's Creator responds to criticism over upcoming downloadable character' and then when I click it, the only result is Boons response to the tweet about not putting Sindel in by saying "We hear ya...wish we could give everyone their favourites"

It's odd to be trending for the sake of one result, or perhaps the media is catching wind of the negative response from fans?

I wouldn't mind if NRS backed off of the guests for MK11, so long as I get my AVP on in MKX I'm cool for a few more years

I'am really confused about Bo Rai Cho as a choice for DLC - he is not popular, he does not have the looks and his moveset is bad and includes "funny" stuff. Do NRS really have enough fresh ideas to make him great and how they can do it without throwing away 50% of his original persona, i mean if Bo Rai Cho have completely new moveset, then why use him as a skin at all?
 
I don't see how a Bo Rai Cho with none of the fart and vomit gimmicks would be a bad thing.
Sure, he's not as popular as, say, Fujin, but NRS likely feels that they cane give him a great revamp and re-introduce him now for future games.
I mean, they gave Kenshi a total revamp in MK9 with his powers being Sento related and not telekinesis related, and look at how good he's been in both MK9 and MKX.
 
.......and Mokap, and Drahmin, and most of the post-MK3 roster, except for Sareena, Fujin, Reiko, Havik, Quan Chi, and Kenshi (IMO).

Someone will probably find a reason to shit on my opinion, though, because that's the nature of the Internet.
