So Im contemplating on whether I want to get the full Kollectors Edition strategy guide for MK9. However Im contemplating on whther its worth it or not...The fact is, Im getting the Kollectors edition of the game and since it comes with a 110 page artbook, the Kollectors edition guide also comes with an art section, thus I would not want to be paying for the same thing twice. $99.99 for the Kollectors edition of the game + $40.99 for the Kollectors edition strategy guide + tax in Ontario being at 13% comes to a total of $159.30...Is it really worth buying the guide? Please let me know what you think...

p.s. How many pages are in the guide?

The guide will probably suck ass unless Prima pulls a complete 180 this time. I ordered the kollector's version for the hell of it because it's only like $21 US on Amazon. It can look nice sitting on my desk I guess, and maybe some of the extras will be cool...

But anyway, if cost is an issue I wouldn't bother getting it. The internet is a much better guide :)

No one knows if the guide is ultimately worth it, it won't come out until the 19th.

If you're unsure about getting it, just wait on it until its released and gets some feedback before making the decision.

I was deff considering this, however I saw just at Gamestop and they said that if you buy it with the game, you get 10% of the price of the game.

MK 9 is the ONLY game that I want to get this year, so, for me, it's worth it.

Lol, I already spent 60$ on Dynasty Warriors 7 twoo weeks ago:P But then again, it was like the only other game I really wanted for this year. On average I buy 2-4 games during the year.

I really don't think it is. All the information will be available online, and if you want the art that's in it, you can just go online and save the pictures onto your computer.

If you want it for inputs... Wait until a list is compiled online then print the move lists off.

Of course it's not worth $40.99. Hell, just get it from Amazon for $20, or just go to the MK Wiki and get all of the info for free. It'd be pretty dumb to spend that much for it...

I bought it off Amazon.ca, honestly Flaviu its safe. Its also eligible for free shipping and its on sale for 25 bucks plus tax. I say you grab it bro.

Well now that Im still contemplating about it, I know I want to get it... I dont mind paying a few extra dollars for it even though I know I could spend the money on something else :P Only thing, I guess I will have to make a short little trip to the bank in the morning before I get it...well its seems my decision is made up after all :)

Whether it is worth it or not is up to you.

Some are getting it, like me, but others are just getting the standard one.

Idk, it looks pretty sweet to me and I think it has like close to 200 pages.

Agreed. I respect whoever wants to get it or not, but it deffinitely looks awesome :) 200 pages? Damn, thata good number ;)
I consider this like an MK bible for the game:P
