okay, this may sound idiotic... but i remember about a year ago, when i was highly obsessed with MKD, preparing for Shaolin Monks to come out, and everyone on here was talking about how cool it would be if Midway produced a MK Trilogy 2 (of sorts) with all the characters mashed up in one glorious assbeating game. Well... doesn't it seem kinda weird that Midway did the exact thing everyone wanted?

I know this may seem benign, but this just popped into my head. Either way, I will salivate until the day MK:A comes out... then i will wait for the radiation of my tv screen to consume my every brain cell.
 
You know... That occurred to me also. And I remember Malitor making a comment to me about something of similar coincidence involving a 'lightsaber' for Raiden, which in turn ended up going to Cyrax as we know.

It's starting to seem to me like we're actually impacting MK here at The Realm. For one thing, as you said, I remember countless people and threads on this site just begging for all the characters back. And we seem to be the only forum (at least that I know of) that has such an extensive collection of created characters.

I remember reading the fight night review on... Whatever site it happened on (name has slipped my mind don't brick me for it). The team joked about the idea of MK:T2 and how 'they hadn't thought of that let us write it down' and then here we are, a few months later, seeing more or less... IT. Looks like the joke was just as serious as it was a joke.

Hmm... If things written on here might become true then I have one thing to say....

I WANT TO SEE MAVADO IN A PAIR OF SWIM TRUNKS MIDWAY PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!

I actually know what you're talking about, but if I remember correctly (which i'm not sure if I do or not), he gave it to one of the cyborgs. Either way, they ripped Mal off 8)

But yesss, trilogy two sounds great! Lets just hope it doesn't suck nearly as hard as the first Trilogy did. man that game was a waste of ten bucks.
 
$10? I paid £1.90 for mine (but then again... It was second hand and in a 'buy 5 PS1 games for £10'). Yeah its pretty bad... But I don't have the honor of being able to play it on a PS... :(

(BTW... I get loose notes on the probs with MK:T on the PS2... What EXACTLY goes wrong with it... Anyone know?)
 
nothing goes wrong with the PAL MKT angel, at least not if you don't use the one button fatality trick.

I was thinking that earlier on actually, and that's what MKA effectively is. It's gonna rock harder than Kiss and AC/DC throwing stones at each other in a volcano, with the whole fight being refereed by the Thing.

It freezes up do to a compability glitch. It works 100% on the PS1 without any glitches/etc.

Also who was saying Trilogy sucked?

No that would be MK: Advance for the GBA. Trilogy was a better form of 3/UMK3.

Even MK1/2 wasn't that good. Who came up with this idea? I mean if you think about it, it was a great game overall, and way better than MK4, and a part of MK:DA. MK:D is the real competition for it.
