Did you loose any saved data? Someone around here was complaining about having to start over in challenge tower after doing a HDD install.

I did not lose any saved data after installing the game to my HDD. I picked up in story mode and challenge tower exactly where I left off. Everything I had unlocked in the krypt was still there as well. I also agree with the others on this, if you've got the drive space it's totally worth doing. It's much quieter since the disc drive doesn't have to spool up as often and I've also noticed a decrease in load times. The only thing that concerns me is that if I ever decide to remove it at some point, will I lose saved data then? It should be alright since the game install data and saved game data are two separate things, but you never know.

If you uninstall a game, you will not lose any game save data. I've done it loads of times, as they are saved seperately.

Really? I've never heard of that happening with any 360 game. You must be a rare and unfortunate exception to the norm.

You probably removed the whole folder instead of just the game install.

I always install games I know I'm gonna be playing a lot. Of course, I don't have one of those 4gb drives and I only buy a game once every 3-4 months, so that helps.
