Hey guys, I just purchased my disc copy of MKXL. I've noticed that I can't play story mode and characters from KP2 aren't available for me to select. What's the deal with that?

...There's some really weird stuff going on with this disc. I also have the gold skin Scorpion, despite not paying for it but there are no cosplay skins for Jacqui and Cassie. WTF is going on with this?

The reason you can't access certain modes is probably because the game data isn't fully installed. It's, what, 60 GB? It'll be a while.
Cosplay skins should be on a voucher in the packaging, I think.

Did you pre-order that is the only way to get the cosplay skins right now for Jacqui and Cassie ?

I'm getting the XL version also on disc tomorrow and I'm wondering, how to install the game.
Are there 2 separate games, original X version and newely installed XL version?
If I delete the previous X version of the game and freshly install the XL version from the disc, will I keep all the progress, gold scorpion skin and unlocked skins via mobile app or will there be all erased?

Yes. I had everything I got from MKX. But it may take awhile since the game is loading itself in the console. So all the outfits and the modes from MKX may not be available in MKXL at first until the game has been running for 30 minutes or even an hour or more (depending on the strength of the wifi) in the console. Unfortunately though, if the outfits such as the Revenants were not unlocked in MKX, they will not be unlocked in MKXL.

I have EVERYTHING unlocked in the MKX, all revenant and "dark" skins, also Krimson Ermac skin etc. and also ALL mobile-to-console skins unlocked. And also Gold Scorpion skin. So all these stuff stays unlocked in MKXL and i can delete the installed game of MK X then?
I'm really confused and don't want to loose those skins....

I believe that whatever you unlock in MKX will be unlocked in MKXL already. MKXL had its own slot when I put it in my PS4 so I deleted my MKX slot. But to be sure, wait until you have everything in MKXL before deleting MKX.

Yeah, I might have a similar problem. I downloaded MKX from the PSN onto the Hard Drive November Last Year and also downloaded the Patch March 1 where I bought Krimson Ermac and Triborg separately. I also downloaded around Christmas Last Year all DLCs except the Brazil Pack and Goro. I've now got XL on Disc to have a Physical Copy Mostly as back up but I haven't even opened it yet for fear of overwriting the game save.
I'm just wondering will the Physical Disc merge with and possibly screw up my Digital Game Saves and Content? Or will it be 2 Separate Games?

I'm on XB1, yesterday I "installed" the disc version of MKXL. The installation is so "smart" that from the XL disc it was just additionally installed the content that the main X game was missing - installed was only 4 characters and Apocalypse pack (and preorder bonus - cosplay pack). So everything stayed untoched, the game wasn't installed once again in full size.
Icon stayed the same as from MK X (with scorpion), even though the icon when u insert the XL disc it's Subzero on the icon.
So everything is fine, didn't have to delete the MKX game. That is on XB1 system.
Guys i'm missing some stuff!!! where are blue steel sub zero and gold scorpion??? Also Dark Raiden isnt unlocked anymore also most what i unlocked in the krypt is locked again, but thats maybe expainable because im a idiot who bought the full krypt unlock (dont Judge please)

did u delete main game with save data and then install the fresh copy of MK XL from the start?
I kept installed original MK X game from disc and just add-install the content from MKXL disc and everything stayed untouched (gold scorpion skin, blue steel subzero, krypt unlock, everything).
I forgot to mention i'm using a PS4 And i did what everybody says keep MKX until you have everything .
I have to admit i have a bad WIFI connection at the moment so maybe thats the problem with the Krypt unlock but i dont know about the skins. ( i believe they arent on the disc)

Gold scorpion skin and Blue Steel Subzero definitely ARE NOT on the MK XL disc. maybe u've got some issues with "synchronizing" with your account and PSN store.... maybe that's why u don't get/see additional stuff that u've already bought from the store or unlock in MK X game previously.
Try to connect UTP cable directly to the console if possible, no Wi-Fi.
