Is Tag Team Basically Cheating?

No they are boss characters. They're way stronger than us as it is. I'm sure they'll compensate for tag.
 
Their moves do more damage, normally, and it appears it takes longer to kill them.

Damage scale on them is very much scaled down.

No, they don't. I saw a video where this guy playing was REALLY BAD and it took multiple tries to beat Kintaro but then when he did it on tag mode he beat him no problem the first time. It makes it super easy.

Oh dang, dunno then. That's pretty lame.
 
Yea it looks like you need to have an awesome round to beat Kintaro and Kahn on Normal or Hard mode. Then later on I saw guys w/ tag teams kind of stumbling their way to victories.

If it was just double the damage done then it should even it up
 
It gives me a chance for the "Beat expert ladder with no continues" achievement. That is, if tag ladder counts.

unless you have the new game and are confirming it, then shang tsung in the ladder of mk 2 in hard has several bones to pick with you with you, namely that he is a huge ******* that is so damn hard, and becomes exactly 0% easier after each continue. continues aren't to make a fight easier, just to give you a million chances to keep loosing to shao kahn.

I hope you can x-ray shao kahn. Ill do noob's and make him vomit all over my pants as retribution for all the controllers I broke fighting him.
