iPod Problems with Xbox 360

Alright guys and gals, I've got a 8GB iPod Nano.

Looks like this:

The one on the right and it isn't the Nano with the camera. Sorry, I don't know much about iPods so I can't give you the generation or whatever :?

So I need help with this thing. When I plug it into my Xbox, it says "connected" and it's charging but my thing is that I want to play its music on my Xbox 360. If I'm lucky, my Xbox will actually detect it randomly.

So instead of sitting down in front of my Xbox and unplugging and re-plugging the iPod until my Xbox decides to finally read it, I was wondering if anyone would know a solution to this so I won't have to go through all the trouble every time.

I've listened to it on my Xbox 360 before so I'm 100% sure it's compatible. I just don't quite understand why my Xbox only reads it sometimes.

Does it read normally on a PC. If so it could be a problem with your 360.

Yeah it reads fine on the PC.

I think it is the 360. My 360 reads everything else fine:

Turtle Beach USBs

Memory USB drives


but not this damn iPod :madsign3:

Apple software doesn't like Microsoft hardware. The only thing I can think of.
