so i found this stupidly OP trick for the IOS version. its really only good to get you past a single fight but anyways....
go to edit team.
swipe your characters away so your team is empty.
then take your best card (like batman or whoever) and swipe them into slot 1.
then swipe that card into slot two, then swipe it into slot 3.
now press back (or fight).... you'll have 3 copies of your best character for the fight.
note: you have 3 of the same character for the fight (or fights), but you don't actually have the cards. so you can't combine them after the fight into an elite card or anything. also, it takes energy from each card, as if it were one card/.... so if you have full energy, it will take 9 energy from each card to do 1 fight (because its all the same card, paying energy for 3 fighters)

this is the strategy i use. works especially well against a team with 1 power loss character and 1 super character
start with your best guy, and fight until you get him to lvl 3 power. then tag to your next guy and fight until you get to level 3 power.... by now, the 1st person will either tag out, or be around 75% hp (maybe less). as soon as they tag in the power loss guy (like nightwing or lex), tag in a lvl 3 power guy and instakill him. then they'll tag in the strongest guy most likely, and you can tag and do a lvl 3 power attack to instantly force them to tag out again, now you're facing the weakest guy with your weakest guy, who you kill, and by the time you kill him, your 1 and 2 characters are at least back to 2 power, and ready to tag in.
DOOMSDAY gets ridiculously hard in the bonus fight after the batman boss. doom has 11khp, and heals 50% life if he kills a character. so when he gets his power up to 2 or 3, always have in, whoever has the most hp... or force him to tag out.

also worth noting, you can absolutely NOT beat the game, without 3 supermans, all at max level....
i know this because, i have batman, wonderwoman, and bane, all level 30+, gold, maxed level 3 specials, and the next fight i have to do has 2 opponents that each do 6500 damage, and have over 15000 hp (each)...i can't even kill 1 guy.
my batman, at level 33, has only 9k hp, and does less than 4k damage. for example.
i know this because, i have batman, wonderwoman, and bane, all level 30+, gold, maxed level 3 specials, and the next fight i have to do has 2 opponents that each do 6500 damage, and have over 15000 hp (each)...i can't even kill 1 guy.

I'm new to this thread, I know the game doesn't work properly on iPod touch 4th generation but it works a bit, I want to know how do u sign in and up to the wb thing in the corner? Because I want to unlock green lanterns new 52 costume

I believe it's 5. And the card becomes "prime". The max level is 88, max hp and max damage are both 888,888
No clue why they chose all 8's for max everything. But hey, never know with the mk team.

^^Maybe cause the original MK game only had 8 character's in it??(if your including Reptile)... like 8 is there good luck number or something..kind of like the way Bungie is with the number 7.:hmmmm: just an idea..

Interesting trick, had to try it. Interesting that it showed me Solomon Grundy (alt universe) gold card in the other two slots after the fight with all the 8's. Good way to power level a new card haha.

yes exactly!
its worth noting though that you dont need 9 energy bars to enter a battle! if you have only three bars and you use the same card three times it would let you in! so thats a good way of playing more without having to wait. I have three gold cards that i keep using whenever either of them regenerates three energy bars. its wonderful
have anyone noticed how lex luthor is really good? I have him level 19 silver card but i can beat strong cards with him especially when i use him in the three slots

I'm finally up until the last page of this game, and just skimmed through the battles ahead and goodness gracious it seems like it will be a daunting task. Currently I'm on a mission to save as much as possible (probably into the 1 million mark) to the point where I can double up all my characters (turn them into elite gold players), and maybe even triple them up to have any chance in getting through and having any chance at the last series of battles.
That said, I really enjoyed the last few battles before the prison Superman boss battles, the ones with the different versions of the same characters etc, those were kind of fun to play.
If I could do everything all over again (which I probably won't, see it's such a gruelling effort especially if you don't intend to spend real money), I wouldn't boost anyone at all, and just start saving for 3 gold players from the very beginning and use all the other bronze players to play the first page bonus round for coins, and just go through the actual game with the gold players and boost only them. I wish there was a way to sell off boost ups you've previously bought, or even characters as a whole for coins!
Enjoyed the game so far, not looking forward to getting hammered in the last few remaining battles though.

I'm currently on the final page now. Should have Lockdown Superman unlocked by the end of the week. The power system really has slowed me up but the tip from Skylot had me beat the boss versions of Batman and Prison Superman in one go each.

you know, I could beat him in the first attempt with relative ease. I think its because i have batman level 26 and his attack is 3080 which is not too fascinating until you realize that batman has a special ability to increase your maximum attack 25% to all your characters. now I used batman in the three slots and so i got three little batman logos on the top left corner of the screen so I had 75% extra attack power! this is very significant.
theres no doubt that the game cheats though. I literally had wonder woman performing a special attack right after i drained her power to be empty, black adams second special has this ability, so yeah. you can only block it and hope it doesnt kill you.
supermans second special attack is unblockable though. so try using that.

well, thats unfortunate. It took so much time to save up for my four gold packs from which i got my four gold cards. im not sure i am willing to save more than a million so i can finally beat the game!
may you please tell us what gold characters you have and what level they are?

As a mistake i bought a lots of bronze characters. But finally got my Batman (Gold pack). He is strong as hell, level 14 4000 life 3400 damage. Upgraded my green lantern, flash and nightwing to elite. Even they are bronze they are really strong too. But unfortunately, it would be better to buy 2-3 silver char to 5-6 bronze ones.

i was stuck there too.
don't worry about it though, there's no chance of passing the 3rd+ levels of the final stage. you just play your team of 3, vs 1 person, and they each have 20k damage and upwards of 50k hp. its a joke. not even worth trying.
its worth noting, the team i'm using is now three level 40 batman's. and i can't even get the 1st opponent down to 30% hp
