I recently brought a new xbox since my old one the controller ports dont work any more. Im stuck on the scorpion boss the skulls and its about 2:30 am so can any body give me any tips or tricks to get passed it i never got passed it the 1st time my dad did and hes in los angles right now.
 
The easiest way to beat the skulls is to...

A. Defeat and lure as many Shirai Ryu to death as possible. This should fill up your energy meter, especially fatalities.

B. Stop Time when a skull is close to you.

C. Line up your shot and pelt him with Fireballs.

D. Rinse and Repeat.

I hope that helps. That's how I always do it anyway.
 
I forgot about the time freeze I usually just ground pound the ninja's out of the way then release the hurt on the skulls, occasionally stopping for a fatality or two. There is also a relatively safe spot you can sit where the entrance barrier goes up, except when the skulls come all the way forward.
 
OK very simple. Not easy, this isn't an easy boss, but simple. Stand back with your back to the wall (or near it) and do roundhouse kicks. You will avoid most damage from the ninjas and occasionally roundhouse one of them into the skull for damage. You will take little damage and gain alot of regenerations orbs so you can just continue to shoot fireballs at the skulls from afar. You'll stay out of the skull's range, avoid damage from the ninjas, and maybe get in a fatality or two (b/c it totally refills your special meter). All with one attack.
