Im scared about Cyber SZ....

Doesn't he say the same thing when he fights him as Human Sub-Zero?

How does making him a Cyborg make that encounter any different than the others that had occured in past MK games? You know, other than ruining what made YSZ great.

As for my Smoke comment...

Who was Smoke before he was a Cyborg? Yeah, he wasen't fleshed out at all and even as a Human this time around he isn't that fleshed out.

He's basically taking away YSZ's old role and YSZ is taking his old role. The same plot goes on and on but in reverse... The only difference is that YSZ had a history of being great while Human Smoke is a blank slate that can go eitherway. From what I've read from the leak it seems that Smoke wasen't used all that much to give him a lot of depth/story other than stealing YSZ's old story of escapeing.

I was always a human Smoke man, and I never liked Younger Sub's character design since MK2, he just kept getting older (why did he age like 20 years faster than everyone else?) and lamer, and he became an absolute good guy instead of a more ambiguous ninja.
I feel the pain of the Sub fans, but I'm glad the changed the story line, even if he got pushed under the bus. And there's always the chance that he can be restored if not partially, Sub couldn't help Smoke, but Smoke might be able to help Sub.

With how they ended YSZ's story as CSZ they can either go...

Keep him CSZ or have him find his Cyromancer Ancestors early with the help of Raiden and thus restoreing himself wole. Of course the most popular characters ending would end up as canon.

If CSZ is popular he'll return. If he isn't than YSZ finds a way to restore himself.

Frost isn't popular enough to replace Younger Sub-Zero as Sub-Zero. Hell, she was one of the characters that wasen't even confirmed to be returning in the Sequel to Armageddon while Shao Khan, Taven, Scorpion, and YSZ were confirmed as soon as they started to work on it years ago before Midway canned the project.
