I'm in a situation..

Try to make him see the funny side of MK, even the makers designed MK to be a lil funny and over the top, just to be "not too gruesome" like really disturbing. Besides, we see worse stuff in the media and streets these days so a lil animated death and gore will not be that bad will it? If he watched you play Dead Space, Carmageddon, Manhunt, Postal, the No Russian level from MW2 or watching Happy Tree Friends (I'm just naming) etc, I could be a lil more understanding. Especially you being an adult and all but hey we don't choose our parents, I had to ditch home at 16 too cuz of similar situations. I am 29 now and turned out perfectly fine, and I'm still lovin' horror and my parents. And besides life could look cranked now, wait till when you live on your own, a whole new NO rules world will open up except for those rules that're called The Law. Anyways I'm gonna shut up now cuz I have work to do, l8er.
 
I'd just try to explain to him how insanely bizzare mk is so it's not really that bad compared to games like GTAIV where you can have sex with a prostitute and then beat them to death with a bat
 
I honestly dont know what to say because my dads not like yours. He (my dad) would come up to me and say" ready to get your ass beat"? This is what I think you should do. Respect your fathers wishes since you are still in his house but once you move out buy any f**king game you want.
