How do I get rid of small weapon in back of my character?

I don't know what I did, but on my my created character has what seems like a permanent "accessory" attached to the rear end. I've tried just about everything like change weapons, change appearance, change attacks; even changing gender doesn't get rid of it. I have a feeling it must have been something I did during Konquest, because when I create a new profile the accessory is absent.
 
Someone else asked about this a while back, and I believe you're probably dealing with the same thing. If you have Scorpion's spear selected under your special moves, the head of the spear will always appear on your costume.
