Since some of you lucky bastards (I say this with love <3 ) Got the game early, how about you give us your own quick, SPOILER FREE review of the game..? Just a thought so some of us can hear about it from other MK lovers instead of some know-nothing reviewers

P.S: I'll still buy the game either way though ;)

Ok so ive had a copy of this for a few days now. Lucky to have gotten it early.

Right, im not going to go in to an in depth review, or give away spoilers, if anyone wants to know anything, pm me and i can give you any info on it.

One thing i will say is my friends, who general look down on MK as a shallow game absolutley love this title. 4 of us have been sat around my xbox 360 every night playing it. Its an incredible title. Tons of nostagic element that werent even hinted upon by ed boon. The amount of things in this game that have been kept secret are mindblowing. Im sure a lot of MK fans think they know everything thats in this game, but trust me, there are tons of things i had no idea about and ive been following this game since its announcement.

Its very smooth, moves are easy to pull off, i found the d pad easier though. Fatalities are sick. I mean really really sick. Ive seen a lot of videos of the fatalites, but it doesnt compare to seeing them on your 48" HD TV.

I have so much i wanna say about it i really do but im afraid to give stuff away. i also know there is an embargo so i dont know what i can say. if anyone can give me to go ahead, then let me know.

Its amazing, seriously the greatest MK ive ever played. My fav is usually MK2 but this takes it to a whole new level. And the MK vs DCU homage fatality is just incredible and a really nice touch in my opinion..

Dude, you will love it, you really will. I havent had this much fun playing MK in a long loong time. And this is gonna sound lame, but you can really see how much ed boon cares for the MK community and fans with the amount of nice little touches included as a thank you to us. Trust me, you will find something new and things we have asked for so many times just added in that have no outcome on the game in any way, just added for us. I know that sounds complicated and vague but there is no way im gonna ruin it for you, and how he managed to keep them all secret is beyond me.

When you see scorpion use his spear, trip over and cry like a little baby, you will laugh so damn hard

FYI, review embargo fiasco scenarios are irrelevant when it comes to individuals like you who happened to get the game early. They relate only to publications/similar parties (usually non-independent game coverage sites that don't want to deal with the repercussions). Unless you work for one, that is.

I don't get too irritated when websites/etc. wait until a release date to share opinions/reviews (it's part of the deal -- publisher gets the game to Gamespot/etc. to play early so that they have time to prepare coverage/share impressions/write a review -- oh, also, here is $1,000 to focus on the positives rather than the negatives/inflate the score (hehe, hopefully not that last one)) -- it's when you can't find any information on a game that is likely crap (but the publisher doesn't want that to be common knowledge yet) days after it came out (I have seen it last four to six days after a game's release in the past) -- sketchy stuff for sure.

yeah i found deception a great game, hence 85% , but i also found that deception should have been what deadly alliance should have been and its no way as deep as other fighters out at the time. Armageddon was shoddier, too much emphasis on content and not enough on quality. It was generic, boring and highly unbalanced, I remember killing my mate about 10 times in a row with one of the bosses and only hitting one button. Onaga i think it was. My score should be lower actually
 
Yeah, Deadly Alliance, imo was a let down. For me at least, it had the worst when it came to introducing new characters to the series
