Please help me make a video but not of God of War. It will be a tribute to the Harryhausen movies. But they are all dvd sources that I own. Because I own the movies on dvd and they wont even show up. How do i change the format so i can make my own video, dude?

Re: God of War video i made!

i have no idea how to do that. You need a program that rips video off of a dvd, i dont know of any that does, but im sure there are some out there.

God of War 2

Some of the latest info and screens of God of War 2 coming out for PS2 on 2/7/2007.

EBGames said:
God of War saw Kratos, a mortal warrior, set upon an epic quest to dethrone a God. But his journey did not end there. In God of War II, Kratos sits atop his Olympus throne, as the new God of War – far more ruthless than Ares ever was. To end his continued torment, Kratos must journey to the far reaches of the earth and defeat untold horrors and alter that which no mortal, or god has ever changed, his fate. God of War II sets an epic stage for a devastating mythological war to end all wars.

This game is deffinetly a step up from GoW the original.

Re: God of War 2

Hey, dude. Watch the 3 in-game demos. Each one runs for approximately 7 minutes. You'll lovem! That's 21 minutes of God of War 2 [bliss]

God of War Figurines?

Why hasn't anybody picked up the rights to make these yet? This game literally swept the floor with most of its competition. So why no totally rad Kratos toys yet?

I want Kratos, Ares, Cyclops, King Hydra, Minotaur, Medusa, Satyr, Enforcers, Sirens, Cerberus figurines. And and even a model of Pandoras Box, think she would mind? Actually, I want every creature in the game including all the new monsters in the upcoming God of War 2

Good idea or what?

Re: God of War Figurines?

i saw a Kratos figure on ebay once, but it was custom made, still looked cool. Maybe they think since its M rated that the people that should be playing it are too old to collect figures? Just a thought, I think it would be cool though.

Re: God of War 2

Just finished watching the first demo, and I can't wait for GoW 2! It looks amazing, same mechanics as the first one with some tweaks. It seems to run smoothly as well. Soon I'll watch the other two as well.

Re: God of War Figurines?

Being 'M' doesn't keep kids from getting it from their parents though. I saw a thread like this on the PS Forums with pictures of custom made Kratos sculptures. (pics on bottom) I would love to gets some figurens or sculptures of Kratos, Kronos (with the temple on his back), Ares, Cyclops, Wraith, Minotaur, Centuar, Cerberus, Gravedigger, and Medusa. Having all the minions and monsters would cost a lot.

Re: God of War Figurines?

Good work, fellas. And nice find with that Kratos sculpture. Seems I'm not the only one that wants to see this potentially fantastic line of figurines come to fruition. Maybe we'll all be very lucky when God of War 2 is finally released, and Sony will wake up take notice and make them available.

I would buy them all, but only if they are good and faithful reproductions. I don't want any shoddy workmanship. I say, make them, and make them great, or just dont bother. Imagine a 18 inch tall Cyclops Enforcer? [the one with the huge steel ball] mad!

Re: God of War 2

Did you manage to view the 2nd and 3rd demos yet, dude? You know what? I am going to be tough by not looking up anymore updates on God of War 2. I just don't want to spoil the gaming experience when I finally get my grubby little mits on it. When I first played God of War, the original, I was blown away, literally! All I had seen prior to playing it was a few images and that's all. I knew it involved Greek Mythology to a large extent and that single element sold me on the game almost single handidly. And I already know way too much about the sequel [prt 2, not sequel].

MINOR SPOILERS BELOW

I have seen 3 new weapons and more moves of Kratos. He has a Wind Bow, the wings of Icarus, freezing abilities and he can use the Golden Fleece to reflect back the Gorgons stares. There is alot more interaction as well, plus the mini games are way more invloved. If you watch the last 2 demos in my above links, you will see a very cool mini game where he kills a huge white 3 headed Dog. Kratos has all of his old moves back as far as I can tell plus a select option on the controller. Very cool!

Damnit, I must stop, but I can't help myself. Lol

WHOA, nice pics and I just watched the last two parts of the demo. The mini games look great and improved. And also that Joystick thing where you rock it, I havn't seen that in another game yet, so that rocks. This game will be very cool.

See how Kratos now has the strength of an actual God? He hoisted that entire stone temple into the swamp. Kratos is going to kick some serious ass in GOW2. Ya, the mini games do look much more involved this time around. And they can be quite effective in bringing down the bigger monsters much quicker than just doing the brute strength thing. Note the skeletons that don't stay dead for long? They were meant to appear in the first game, but David Jaffe wasn't happy with their involvement. As for the joystick move, that will be quite interesting. But isn't that kinda the same thing as in GOW where if you got turned to stone, you can just shake it off?

Hmmm....

Re: God of War 2

Well, I am glad Kratos now shows the strenght he aquired in the first game, makes it much more realistic in terms to the storyline. As for the stone thing, yeah it's the shakeoff thing. It was also used when you were climbing across a rope and an enemy grabbed your legs. The skeletons shall be muy divertido to fight.

Re: God of War Figurines?

I would buy some if they had them. AWesome find Kona. i reckon MCflaren(cant spell) sould make them, there figurinesare some of the best around imo.
