glitch? anybody else's game do this?

when you beat Sheeva and Kintaro back to back in Konquest....another screen starts to come up. The fighting style display sweeps onto screen from both sides then it quickly goes to an autosave followed by a cutscene.

I find it hard to believe that you guys haven't made it 3/4 through Konquest.......... a simple yes or no reply would be nice.
