Gah!

had the same thing happen on my ps2 had only 3 or 4 left to unlock and then... gone, different console same problem it seems. Stopped playing deception after that I don't think i could have sat through hours and hours of trying to take out scorpion in edenia again.
 
Well, I've already unlocked every krypt 3 times. Sorry for your loss. That's one thing I'm scared of with a PS2...I'm thinking about buying a backup Mem card so I can keep my old saves incase of corruption.
 
I know the same thing happens to me and I was told how this happens. It's meant to be if you leave your memory card near or on top of the PS2 when not using it. It can cause your data to corrupt. So I keep mine away from it now
