This fake I've been working on for the past two days. It's my first animated fake. I started off by doing a still image (listed below) of the start of the fight but thought it was actually pretty boring since nothing was really going on, and I decided to animate it.

Sub-Saibot is a combination of Scorpion and Sub-Zero sprites, but the character I went for was Noob-Saibot getting back his freezing powers, and Meat is just one of those corpses with pose changes and an eye.

I have an idea for Meat's fatality, so I'll more than likely do a fake with Meat performing a fatality on Sub-Saibot. If you spot errors just point them out so I don't make the same mistake twice.

I really like it...its running kinda slow on my browser, but im strongly considering downloading firefox to see it better. Awesome work bro.
 
I like this one Kryp. Good to see you posting some stuff in here other than an occasional critique :)

Only things I see wrong with it are the ice effect that is shot down the rope. It doesn't look right how it goes all the way there, then the whole thing disappears at once. It should trail out just how it started.

When Sub-Saibot kicks Meat, you've just got a line that looks too 2D. You need to flesh out that ice cube to add some depth to it.

I'm not gonna go into griping about little details and all since it is a .gif and it's inherantly going to be of lower quality visually.

Idea is top notch as is the execution. And since I'm not even gonna try and do an animated fatality anytime soon, you get a 9/10 from me on this one.

Maybe some day I'll take the time to do one, but most likely it will end up on the half done pile o' crap I've got on my PC already :lol:

KK, yeah, I noticed those flaws but didn't feel like fixing them. I also noticed that on Sub's legs, sometimes they're all black or they have the shin guards on them, and no, that's not because of the quality. I used the robot smoke's legs from some sprites (since they were really good for the movement I needed) and just darked the legs black but darkened the legs for the scorpion/sub sprites where you can at least see the shin guards.

Thx. It's Noob-Saibot with his freezing powers back since NS is actually Classic Sub-Zero (the older brother). The spear was just something different. As of MKD, Noob-Saibot is ruler of the Netherrealm, which is where Scorpion resides, so he could have overpowered Scorpion and took his spear kind of like how Mavado took Kabal's hookswords. That's not really what I was originally planning, but a storyline for Sub-Saibot sounds good anyway. ;)

Thx. Good sites to post fakes on that are free are www.imageshack.us and www.photobucket.com then just do this to post the image:

and that would post the image

Just replace the URL with the URL of the photo. I believe imageshack tells you what to post anyway.

Nah, thats ok. Thanks anyway though.. Its just becoming a bigger snowball. Lets not go to all that trouble. Thanks anyway. :)
