Don't see how adding characters into mortal kombat will kill it or even bother it much. The great thing about DLC is that you don't have to buy it. But it would depend on the character. MK was inspired by old horror B movies and kung fu flicks. So I welcome horror characters, seems much better than DC characters. Actually I wouldn't mind a cross over later on with image comics. Of course as it's own series like MvC or SvC. But I think Freddy makes perfect sense to me. As long as the characters fit go for it. Long as they keep'em out of the story I think it's ok.

would it be so crazy if they brought back tanya as a cyborg? i mean i didnt really like her to begin with but would be cool
 
i started this whole freddy talk on the spoilers forum and everybody bashed me like crazy.......we shall see what happens
