I'd love to see Raiden's select screen animation and select screen icon.

I love all the little details that are being put into MK X, even something so miniscule as the select screen when the characters are selected.
Sub-Zero smashes ice in his hands.
Scorpions' eyes light up with fire.
D'Vorah flies toward the screen with her wings.
etc, etc, etc, etc.......

Its the little things that make a huge difference.

Agreed, and some of those little things make MK X look that much more interesting than MK9.

MK9 gave us a regular select screen, but with MK X the characters react when they are selected.
Animation in the intros are MUCH smoother.
Fighting mechanics also seem more fluid and don't break up the fight, including interactions.
Fatalities have new gore tech for the enhanced Unreal Engine, which doesn't limit the characters to a cut-point system, as can be seen in D'Vorah, Cassie Cage, Kotal Khan and Raiden's Fatalities.
