Drop Glitch in Ranked Match giving you the loss?

Ok so today I log on and played a few ranked matches. On my 3rd match this guy who was on the leaderboard picks Scorpion. He beats me in rd1 because I was on the phone... rd2 I smash him and round 3 I am about to finish him off when I hear him say something on his mic "watch this". So the game lags out and the this game session is no longer available message pops up. So I send him a message calling him out and at the same time I receive a voice message. He says something like he hated to do it but he had to because I was such a ***** and running away (really I learned his only combo he could do and was keeping my distance... i.e. strategy) and sure enough I check my Record and I was at 523-64 before and I am now at 523-65 and my true skill got dropped. This is a ****in huge problem and needs to be dealt with immediately. It is my first time hearing about this/dealing with it. Anyone else ever hear of this?
 
The EXACT same thing has happened to me a couple of times as well. Insted of it saying "your opponent has left the game" when they rage quit it says "The game session is no longer available". Then when I check my stats I've gotten a loss. It's ****ing annoying. And I know that it's not the connection, we could have great connection to one another and it only happens during the last combo or when it says "Finish him".
 
"This game session no longer available" happens when both players are booted at the same time. Both players get a loss if this happens

i would also like to apologize on behalf of nrs for your 1/600 poor experience with this game online. may the lord bless you greaty in return.
 
I always wondered why my losses where getting higher when I didn't remember tossing the match, this game is terrible for rage quitters and dropped matches and needs a fix ASAP

Lol at this kid. 600 games is a lot when I've been playing it for 3-4 weeks? Why are you salty that you still can do a 5 hit combo kid?
 
yeah i am playing it casually and i was about to beat a spaming raiden and right before i beat the last bits of health out of him i got that message, most of the time it happens when i am about to beat a spammer, never knew it was that big of a problem
