Do you think this MK will be the fastest MK ever???

Looking back on it (while I was playing MK4), I can clearly see MK4 is the fastest game up to date that I have ever seen.

MK 1 and 2 had no running abilities, however MK3 and MK4 did have running abilities.

My question is will MK:A have the fastest gameply ever?? Even faster than MK4?/ Thanks...
 
MK4 lagged though so MMK3/MK:T was faster the only game where a two second to preform combo could kill you. (Noob Saibots throw+Uppercut technique kills in 4 hits for only a two-hit combo)

Thus I think MK:3/etc. Were faster.

On topic:

Maybe if they make a few adjustments.

Although I don't want it too fast. I like learning from my mistakes but not if I'm not fast enough to learn from them.

MKA would be even kooler than it already maybe if you have speed settings just before the character selection. In other words:


Normal: Normal MK gameplay speed

Fast: A tad faster than normal

Turbo: For all the Streetfighters among us, who like hyper-type fighting.

Just a thought, but to answer your question. I believe that MKT on Mame is the fastest. Especially when you set the frame rate to 100 :P

Anyway no seriously IMHO MK:T/UMK3/MK3 were the fastest. you guys go ahead and say what you want and leave my valid opinion alone that means you Zetta. LMAO.

It doesn't look like the fastest MK to date, and probably won't be. I think it will be the most strategic though.

I find MK4 and MK3 to be the fastest because well... MK4 actually had combos which made fights fast. MK3 holy crap Cyrax's 7 hit combo 40% damage, Noob SAibot combo 25% 2 hit combo/4 hit 34% damage. Mk 4 highest combo reaches about 8 hits and does 34% damage although that is crap IMHO. If you do something with Smoke you can make inf. Combos in MK3/etc. Hopefully it will be fast.
 
Idk, this one looks to be faster since you can close the gap pretty quick, but I prefer the slower gameplay of MKs 1, II, and Deception.

anyways, I think the fastest are mk4 and mk3.

Well a good question but i think not,cause the main reason they kept mk:a on the main consols is cause they wanna keep the fighting engine for this last BLOW UP game!..And i agree with you mk4 was the fastest the way they do combos is way faster than MK:DA and MK:D,But for some reason MK:SM is kinda faster!lol but that doesn't have to do with the fighting games well,the versus mode
 
I wouldn't say MK4 was so fast... Sure it was fast, but no in the 'fast' contex. After playing the best way I can describe its speed is 'sudden' rather then 'fast'.

The way the characters moves is so suddenly it suprised me when I first played it. I had been used to MK games being fairly slow. I didn't mind the speed of the characters moving at all, it didn't seem much different from memory. But I can remember that MK4 I had to react quicker whenever someone did something as it was harder to turtle (Yes I turtle in MK... I know some of you hate turtlers :lol: ).

The speed on those videos looked about the same as MK:DA and MK:D, some of the combos they were pulling off were faster paced by the look of them.
 
I'd love to see MK:A combine their trademark violence and brutality with DOA style of grace and fluid combat.

Because even though MK:DA and D had plenty of bone crunching goodness, the speed and style of it was on par with a rusty robot fighting an old lady.

I'm lovin the air kombat thus far and I hope that'll play a big facotr in the fighting.
