Eragon looks pretty good so far. Checkout the trailer to this new fantasy movie.

Crazyness, Dragons are awsome and most of the movies they make about them are good. This one looks really good so, I think I'll be seeing it.
 
Interesting, I only just noticed the books on the shelves just the other day and thought about picking them up, but the place was a rip off and I'm broke at the moment.
 
Just borrow them. Lol. There's lots of Dragon movies that I like.

I agree that Dragonheart and Reign of Fire were decent enough movies. Dragonslayer wasn't and D&D had to be one of the biggest jokes to ever grace the silver screen. Honestly. With as much depth, lore, and awesomeness that the D&D franchise has to work with (such as Forgotten Realms) I don't see why they made a non-serious funny guy movie with a bunch of kids and Jeremy Irons making a fool of himself.

I read R.A. Salvatore and other's Forgotten Realms books and get such an incredible picture in my mind of the land, characters, and cities ... it would be amazing if someone created an epic 3 part saga in the Forgotten Realms universe (or Warhammer for that matter) that was done with around the same quality as the LotR movies. They have such a better universe than the boring and bland LotR crap...

But Reign of Fire is my favorite from that list if not just to watch Christian Bale and Matt act. Speaking of Bale I can't wait for 'The Prestige' that comes out later this month. Gonna be the best movie since Batman Begins.
 
I agree with your comments, dude. D&D was pathetic, but I enjoyed it because at the time I was bored. I have bumped this thread with some screen caps from Eragon. :mrgreen:

Real funny! I wonder happen to Chief anyway and how he got a permanent bannedr what so ever?

Anyways, I'm a big dragon fanatic, as you can tell by my username, avatar. Dungeons and Dragons is far better off as a game than being shown in the movies.
 
Yeah, I miss my buddy Chief. I am hearing good things about Eragon, so I'll pick it up on video eventually.
 
BRING BACK THE CHIEF!!!! So what if he got a bit out of hand at times? With a post count of 5 billion and counting, one is bound to snap from cabin fever every now and again.
