Motaro will be a DLC?

I heard in a lot of forums that a user received a e-mail from Nethrealm Studios confirming Motaro will be a DLC (+/- June)

Only speculation at this point... They haven't even released the already confirmed DLC. Unless you have a link to prove it, I doubt it will happen.. Playing online with boss or sub-boss characters would piss the hell out of a lot of people. Considering Goro does over 50 percent damage with his X-Ray, if they do release Motaro via DLC, he would probably be the same... That would be not a fun time online for most people if they had to fight against a user controlled sub-boss.

I really dont see boss or sub-boss characters being playable. Too overpowered and with them being player controlled lets just say it would get cheap. But I do see them doing dlc to add him into arcade ladder maybe packed with additional challenge tower missions.

I would be VERY surprised since Motaro would require a totally new skeleton for all his animations...
It's not common practice in videogame companies to rig and animate a new character that will have a unique body and skeleton. It's not worth the time and couldn't be reused for any other character. If they actually do it, it shows just how dedicated they are at bringing back key characters from the series.

Still, if you ask me : not gonna happen.

I do hope I'm wrong. :)

If he IS DLC hopefully it will means that its just a third random sub boss you can fight in arcade ladder
 
I believe its true, because Motaro has already been made in 3D, his model is ready, is done

In GOD OF WAR 2 on ps2 and GOW 3 on ps3 there were centaurs to fight against... and they looked awesome

I wouldn't mine if he stayed a sub boss for arcade mode. but as far as him becoming a playable character. hope not.
