Sindel ended up being brought back to the side of good, thus her powers were revoked. Thus she was weaker after the original timeline of MK3.

Being made super powerful during a part of the timeline=/=full timeline.

Sorry I didn't add this to my original post but my Edit is having problems:

-Forgot to mention, Sindel was part of the extermination squads that harvested billions of humans on Earth. That's what she was pretty much doing for Kahn during the original timeline. Even without Shang's power during the original timeline she was still powerful enough to destroy the barrier. She is still more powerful than Quan Chi who was the more powerful part of the DA.

Well she made the barrier before she was given Shang's soul so wouldn't she still have great power during MK3?

She didn't create the barrier. The barrier was created by Raiden. Second she gave the souls up. Edenians are on the side of good. Jade /Kitana managed to convince Sindel to stop from aiding Kahn during the original timeline. Thus it is safe to assume the souls she harvested were given back to the Soulnado under Kahn's control. Which explains why Shinnok gave Edenia trouble during MK4. This is because Sindel lost her previous powers. Which I explained.

Here's a simple math forumla:
Taken from an MK3 Sindel perspective:
Sindel > Raiden. [Barrier was Raiden's, she destroyed it.]
Sindel > Quan Chi + Shinnok's Amulet.

Raiden<DA. [However Raiden was able to fight them on equal ground for quite a while.]

Sindel > = DA.

Sindel>Liu Kang.

Sindel>ER warriors.
Raiden>ER warriors.
DA>ER warriors.

Thus we get Sindel is greater than or equal to DA which is more powerful than Raiden, which is more powerful than ER's warriors.

Well I guess you are right I'm not going to make pointless arguments if I've been proven wrong but surely you must agree it was a weak way to kill off most people's favorite characters

Meh, I guess it's weak. Though I thought DA killing off everyone was pretty weak too.

I didn't really play Deadly Alliance the first 3D MK I played was Deception but the only death from Deadly Alliance I know of was Liu Kang who else was killed during that game?

Kitana
Jax
Sonya
Johnny Cage
Liu Kang
Raiden
Scorpion [Quan Chi threw him directly into the Soulnado which tore him apart]
Shao Kahn's clone [at the time we didn't know it was a clone... XP]
Shang Tsung [Quan Chi did him in.]
It's safe to assume: Stryker.

Only a few didn't end up fighting the DA:

Jade [didn't make it in time and discovered Raiden's group dead. [Along with Kitana]
Sub-Zero [Was training Frost in the wild]

Pretty much everyone else was already either dead or couldn't be there to stop them.

Wow yea that sounds just as stupid as Sindel killing everyone that explains why those characters weren't in Deception

Sorry edit problem again: Forgot to mention:

Li Mei was saved only in the nick of time. [Part of her soul was absorbed by Tsung]

That may be true about Sindel's power, Reptikahn, but what I find kinda lame, aside from everyone getting owned or not managing to escape somehow, is the fact that Nightwolf not only held his own against her when he got back on his feet, but actually managed to kamikaze her to oblivion as well.

In post MK:DA games it took the combined might of atleast 2 kombatants to destroy someone extremely powerful, but yet Nightwolf does it all by himself. And according to you Sindel > Raiden > ER Warriors, so how is it Nightwolf is able to take out Sindel then, if she is so powerful?

Nightwolf is an exception. Like I made mention of in Goro and Kintaro, Nightwolf has special "spiritual powers" such as canceling others out. [Projectile counter move]

Since Sindel was using powers such as that, it's safe to assume that Nightwolf was able to cancel her power out [just like he did to Onaga in the original timeline] thus allowing him to "kamikaze her."

Ya, I guess you're right and they went the old MK:DA-MK:D route in that part again. So, they pretty much just recycled the "ER-warriors-get-killed-and-it-takes-Nightwolf-to-ultimately-destroy-boss" part.

Words cannot express my nerd rage, haha.
