Cyborg versions of characters?

I know the topic has likely been redone to death, especially revolving around 'younger sub-zero being a cyborg', but I have a few different ideas of who could possibly be mechanized.

Kano- he already has the bionic eye and he hasn't been leaked yet, maybe the Black Dragon went more technological and he chose to become a cyborg (or part) and becomes more mechanized.

Stryker- he already relies on technology and unlike the other characters he possesses no magical abilities (unlike Liu Kang, Sonya, etc..), so he could become a cyborg in order to protect his city further. Plus he was more of a throw-in character anyhow (wasn't he part of a design a character contest at one point?) so his story will likely be revamped.

Kabal- he's basically kept alive by machinery (artificial respirator mask) so maybe he is rebuilt rather than being merely half-dead.

Thoughts?
 
I just hope they dont F@ck up any characters by turning them cyborg, sektor and cyrax are all the cyber people we need.

Enough said.
 
A female cyborg would be good. I just hope it isn't any of the Edenians. Not even Jade. Stryker would be good enough to wear some clothes that would shoot projectiles but I wouldn't make him a cyborg.

That is pure win! I don't think there would be any cyborg-Edenian (since technology is mainly in Earthrealm thing while in Edenia/Outworld is heavily focused on magic). I still think a fembot would be cool though...instead of the 'younger Sub-Zero' that people have been clamouring for, save the mechanizing for Frost! :twisted:
 
I don't think they really need another cyborg for this game. As much as I love the idea of ass-kicking cyborgs... Too much is too much.

Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke (if he's a cyborg) are enough for one game.

That. Turing them into a cyborg isn't cool, it would totally alter their character design, their story line, and the personality, making them into another character entirely. Also I think only Lin Kuei members should be automated, and since Younger Sub is Sub, and older sub is dead (I was kinda hoping they were going to change the story line but...) and Smoke is I hope human, otherwise I don't know what Boon alluded too in his famous story-line quote. That just leaves post UMK3 characters, which I am not familiar with and don't care what happens. If they want to turn Tremor or Frost into a cyber ninja whatever.

I agree with this totally, we have all come to like Mortal Kombat's characters the way they were created. The MK team got away with turning smoke into a cyber ninja because he was basically a super secret character at that time, and it just stuck, but many fans, including myself feel that it was a dumb move turning him into a cyber ninja, but thats life now. I hope they dont make that mistake in this game, clearly more fans like him human, so i hope netherrealm studios sees that.

But i absolutely love the younger brothers new incarnation, it reminds me so much of his older one brother and at the same time, makes me realize that the younger sub zero that i basically grew up following basically is still in the game.

And now since we are on the subject of TREMOR, i had no idea who the HELL this character was until i saw that link (thanks to docmighty, btw i love your pic, the girls insanely hot) and if they are to include a "new" character into the series thats NOT DLC, it would be him, cuz at the same time, theres a lot of fan demand, MK fans know who he is, hes technically not "new" because they were gonna put him in trilogy and he has not been in any storyline MK game. So yeah i hope they put tremor in this game!
