well i was watching documentaries on Robert Rodriguez(Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn) this morning and thinking about the 80's action film Stone Cold when it hit me like a sack of bricks dropped from the Prudential Building in Boston--the perfect set for an independent action film. my idea was to be gritty and somewhat fuzzy, like an 80's film in the theatres. It would be a revenge tale with plenty of guns, one-liners, and catchy works with some squibs in the mix. A title idea I had was Wet Dog, with a tagline somewhere along the lines of 'an old dog can't learn new tricks', in which the main character seeks revenge upon a powerful man (named Lorenzo "Larry" Maynard) with a small army under his sleeve who shot the main character and left him for dead. He seeks revenge with a barrage of ammo and the dreaded nickname 'Wet Dog', meaning that he is not wanted around (like a wet dog). There's alot of improvement needed and I was just curious if anybody had any imput or support/ideas at all. yyyyyeeeeaaaahhhh...........

Well trust me, I've been writing scripts now for two years and it's very time consuming. Also I heard you were going to use squibs. Goodluck because they cost alot of money and are very hard to find. Not unless you know a cheap place to buy them, But If you wanted I could help you with the script you know give you idea's and witty remarks to put into it. But good for you that you have decided to write an action film. Could be the start of something big. Must see this movie when it's done

well I'd be glad to have assistance and thanks for the advice, etc. Nice to know someone else is in the same type of deal. yeah, squibs ARE expensive but i had some ideas of using the pistols that fire fake blood. eh, we'll see what happens.

Well i know a few techniques for making fake blood and making it shot out and well lots of other stuff but if you have msn or yahoo i'll talk to you better on that
